The LWVW Steering Committee is proud and excited to announce that M. Joyce Westner will be the recipient of the 2025 Civic Leadership Award. Please join the League on Thursday, September 18, 2025 for the 2025 Civic Leadership Award Ceremony.
Joyce has provided a tremendous service to our community, bringing idealism balanced with professionalism to shape public discourse in a civil fashion. Joyce effectively engages a wide range of people, often while tackling some of the most challenging community concerns. Most recently, Joyce responded to the clear need for independent local news reporting by guiding the formation of the online publication, Winchester News.
