As a member of the League of Women Voters of Winchester you are able to participate in local, state and national League events, programs and activities. The Winchester League tries to create several events through out our year (September through May). We are always interested in engaging people, finding out what interests them, acquiring new members and member volunteers. If you have an interested friend, bring them along to an event or attend a Steering Committee meeting.

Our Annual Meeting where we listened to our inspiring and talented Annual Civic Leadership Award recipient, Judy Manzo. Speakers revealed the many sides of Judy - from successful entrepreneur to literacy advocate and co-founder of Winchester Reads, board member of the Winchester Music School, and president of the Winchester Chamber of Commerce.

LWVW's Annual Moveable Feast where we provide and serve lunch to our Winchester Town employees who take such great care of us and our town. We take the opportunity to say, "Thank you for all that you do!"

The League's Kitchen House Tour was our major fundraiser in 2016. We got an inside look at six fabulous kitchens and learned about the designers, architects, and owners who created them. The highlight was tasting appetizers by chef Vittorio Ettore made in his own kitchen. We had a great turn out with lots of fun - watch for the next one!
